Jennifer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Supervisor in the State of Texas, as well as a Diplomat in Clinical Social Work with over 27 years of experience.
Jennifer’s services include individual, couples, family, and group counseling. She utilizes a variety of approaches such as CBT, CT, BT, DBT, Psychoanalytic, Gestalt, Grief and Loss, Body-Centered, Mindfulness, Emotion-Focused, and EMDR therapy. She views life’s struggles as opportunities for growth; and working together to build upon strengths, identify purpose, and add positive meaning to life. She specializes in the treatment of trauma, to include childhood trauma and developing insights and resolution of long-standing, difficult to understand patterns in our life and relationships. She is available for in-person and virtual appointments.
Chris Norman is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. After more than 15 years leading ministry to families and children in churches, he began counseling on our team in 2016.
His services include individual (adolescent & adult), couples, premarital, family, and group counseling. Chris uses counseling techniques from Emotionally Focused Therapy and CBT. Chris believes life is about relationships, and he strives to empower clients to live a life of greater happiness and deeper connection. He is a certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator for premarital counseling and trained in EMDR for trauma. Helping clients manage tinnitus through CBT is important to Chris as he was diagnosed with tinnitus in 2018. He is available for in-person and virtual appointments.
Diedra is a licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in the state of Texas since 2016.
Diedra offers a wide variety of experience as a licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Houston Downtown and Master’s of Science in Juvenile Forensic Psychology from Prairie View A&M. She has work experience in social services, inpatient treatment, corrections, healthcare, and private practice. Diedra's role with the counseling center is to help bridge the gap between addiction services and the surrounding community.
Jann has an open and friendly personality greeting others with a smile and is always ready to step in to serve. She enjoys creating order out of chaos and learning new skills.
Her desire to learn and grow is demonstrated by having completed her master’s degree less than two years ago. When not engaged in work and learning, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family as well as her creative hobbies like working with stained glass, warm glass, and card making.
