The center offers several ways to connect and find healing. We offer therapy for individuals, couples, and families from Sunday to Thursday, with evening sessions on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We also provide support groups where people can connect with others, learn about themselves, and find healing from grief, addiction to substances or pornography, and the challenge of setting healthy boundaries.
At various times throughout the year, our team produces seminars, workshops, and intensive weekends on rebuilding couple relationships, parenting children and teenagers, recovery from substance use, trauma, and more.
Community Counseling is about giving back to the community and in order for us to meet the need, we need your help. With your gracious donations, we will be able to continue to promote healing.
There is always an individual or family struggling with what life throws at us but does not have the resources to seek counseling. Your generous donations, will provide counseling sessions for those in financial need.
You may be asking yourself, “What is Trauma-Informed Yoga?”
Trauma-Informed Yoga has been proven to reduce chronic anxiety, depression, and the issues trauma has had on the body, mind, and spirit. This safe and gentle form of yoga promotes the ability to be more present, self-heal, self-soothe, and self-regulate within a belonging community.
We are starting a Trauma-Informed Yoga Group, overseen by Community Counseling. We will meet on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:45pm starting on August 2nd for 6 weeks. We will meet in the Community Counseling building conference room.
There is no cost to attend this group.
